There is a scene towards the beginning where the people at abc are discussing what to ask when interviewing one of the Israeli medal winners. The response is:
Ask him what its like to win in hitlers back yard
Which to me perfectly encapsulated how fucking mental journalists can be. Hope the moral of the movie was how shitty war/crisis reporters are ! They fucking suck!
I don’t generally think films have to take a political stance. However, as well made, acted, etc this movie was, it is also truw that the timing is deplorable and the skirting around that makes the movie appear vague
