  You don’t come to this for the plot, or a gripping narrative. You come to watch Colman Domingo ball out, and the RTA graduates also ball out. This thing was clearly written from the perspective of - “how do we give each of these guys a moment, or a scene, to show what they can do” not “what would be the best story.” But I’m not mad about it. This was a sweet movie. It’s not top of the re-watch list but I’m glad it was made. Need more movies with Paul Raci, great in this and Sound of Metal.

  Down the middle, textbook, classic, heist movie. Newman and Redford never miss. Fun little twist at the end.

  A truly unique premise for the down the middle ‘lost traveler, rescue’ plot. Nothing about the script or acting was particularly great - but ‘deep sea diving oil pipeline repairman’ is a topic I have never thought about before. Fascinating and truly terrifying - makes the movie worth a watch.

  Blew me away. Two leads were phenomenal. Cinematography phenomenal. Script.. amazing - saying so much in the space between what is actually said. The closing shot (swinging doors and strobe lights) is one of my favorites ever. Incredible.
