  It is a travesty that I had to watch one of the most important films in Asian queer cinema in 360p because it was virtually impossible to find it. The performances were great, but if only Stanley Kwan had added an extra hour to the film. With greater depth and exploration, it would have flourished as the heartbreaking tale it was meant to be.

  With 'The Lost City of Z' and 'Good Time' under his belt, we can all agree that 2017 marked the rise of Indie King RPatz. With stringy blonde hair and an angular visage, Pattinson is almost unrecognisable as anti-hero Connie Nikas and he is electric. Charismatic and intense, Pattinson disappears under the skin of his character and your image of him as a sparkly, eternally youthful vampire is forever vanquished. Watching his character navigate the seedy underworld of New York and fight for his survival is nothing short of exhilarating. Gritty and exciting, 'Good Time' is a shot of adrenaline and undoubtedly one of 2017's best.
