I thought this was very fun and definitely nostalgic! I have no doubt this was a blast to work on. There were some story elements I wish could have been tweaked a bit but the performances from everyone and also the energy of the whole piece was really nice. Tom Holland feels like this generation’s Michael J. Fox. He’s so endearing and relatable in his portrayal of a senior student in that last year of high school.  I can’t wait to see him evolve even more in his career.

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would! I’d heard from people that it would feel very long, but I personally didn’t notice dragging moments and I thought the pace felt pretty good. I thoroughly enjoyed the noir vibe and could feel bits of Seven and Zodiac, but I was here for it!
I enjoyed the performances and I appreciated the cinematography and score very much. I’d definitely be down to check out more of this version of Gotham (and its many heroes and villains) if they make a sequel.

I was very pleasantly surprised! I was going in with an open mind but tried not to have too high of hopes, because I’ve been let down before. HOWEVER, I truly believed every performance! I enjoyed the dialogue and character moments very much. The only reason I didn’t give it a perfect score was mostly because of some things in the storytelling that weren’t quite my cup of tea. It felt a little clunky at the start and I sometimes got confused in time jumps, but that may have just been me.

I really really enjoyed this. There are some truly  lovely moments between characters but there are some story things that I wish could have been explored a bit more. I felt emotionally connected to the story and the characters and I appreciate that this film was made.
