I thought I didn’t understand mot upon finishing cause I was waiting for something catastrophic and it made me anxious the whole film knowing it’s notoriously devastating but in subtle moments of skin ship between the two like soph laying her head on his arm after he takes off the cast or her rubbing the mud on him as he’s apologizing made me really see me and my dad in those moments and it kept bringing me to tears but now I’m typing all of this out I can’t stop sobbing.
