  Going all in for my first review lol 

  For all the slagging Colleen Hoover gets, I think this movie did a good job shining a light on all aspects of DV. 

  1. Abusers can be sexy, smart, romantic, and even kind yet still be abusers. 
  2. You can’t judge someone until you’ve been in their shoes: the parallel between Lily and her mother’s experiences added a really interesting dimension to this story.
