Anatomy of a Fall 2023
I really like how the son really grounded the whole film he was like the underdog. He was FOCUSED! I thought it would be more of a “who done it” but I actually like how much it explored the nuances of their situation and how closely we could follow the son’s emotional journey as well. Such natural acting and a brilliant script. Would recommend.

Daniel Craig was spellbinding here as an awkward and troubled yet deeply sensitive and soul seeking character, and was just a joy to watch and be taken out of my expectations of him as an actor, where he usually plays more macho roles ie Bond etc. A bit of a slow build at times but worth it for the emotional send offs closer to the end which made me realise how much I really had hypnotically fallen into the protagonist’s journey. Beaaaaauuutiful settings and shots and colour, Luca Guadagnino is one of the most visually exciting directors at the mo!
