    Tokyo Olympiad is a timeless piece of cinema, a small piece of humanity captured and preserved. Kon Ichikawa and his team candidly caught what our civilisation would look like in a balance of tradition and modernity.

    What's on display is now more than half a century - yet the tension and excitement don't fade, a contrast on the current culture of shock content and "spoiler hypersensitivity" (yes, even on historical events).
