Anora 2024
Watched almost the entire half with a big smile on my face, so hilarious and enjoyable. Even though the ending was really sad I didn't find it extremely devastating or anything like some people claimed it to be, but that's okay. I also wished we got to dive into Ani's life more and get an even better perspective from that. Mikey Madison is a star she mothered during the entire movie idk how many times I laughed. Also Igor was such a babygirl he's a need.

this was shocking even for someone like me who is normally not affected by gore content in movies? it was rather disgusting more than scary & it got extremely absurd towards the end that i started laughing... i was like... what the fuck am i watching 😹. i wish she went to that date that night though she was looking so good almost like she might be using the substance in real life... anyways it perfectly captures the misogynistic & ageist mindset of most men from today & criticizes it with a fresh idea which i loved.

even though the cinematography, costumes, the atmosphere & gothic visuals were all beyond mesmerizing and on point - some build ups led to nothing. the pacing was a bit too slow at times and whole thing could've been like 15-20 minutes shorter. nicholas hoult was hot as always, don't get why people were drooling over nosferatu while he was right there 💀 aaron taylor johnson easily had the worst acting here & it was so noticable — on the other side lily…
