A substantial improvement on the initial 2017 film, Zack Snyder's Justice League is bloated, masturbatory and at points, really terrific.

Annihilation 2018
A fairly strong addition to Alex Garland's repertoire, Annihilation boasts an engaging central performance, moments of horrific violence and at times, dizzying visuals. Unfortunately the ambition of the production and creature design lets the film down at points, with some of the otherworldly elements appearing cartoon-like and quite jarring.
