Killers of the Flower Moon 2023
I wish the movie focused less on Leo and De Niro and more on Lily Gladstone. Her scenes and the ones with her narrating were the most compelling. Like most Scorcese movies, this is too long and not long enough. An incredibly beautiful and disturbing movie.

Shocked by how much I didn’t like this movie. An infinite number of identical characters mostly just telling Cillian Murphy he’s a genius and grumbling about who is or isn’t a communist. The scenes where they tested the bomb and the scene in the gym were powerful and well done, but otherwise it was much too talky and not in a dynamic way. I can’t believe Emily Blunt is nominated for this, she and Florence Pugh were given the must underdeveloped roles.
