  I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore 2017

  Not a fantastic film, but it was a fun watch. I was hopeful Elijah Wood's character would be more along the lines of Joseph Gordon Levitt in Hesher, but he was only a slightly more aggressive version of his other roles.

  The House That Jack Built 2018

  The promise of a nauseating film with intense gore and horror wasnt so, and instead was a dull experience with brief moments of violence.
  The film didn't build tension well, if at all. It simply allowed the violence to happen without any music to influence your fear. The only "tension" was guessing when in the scene jack was going to initiate murder, which took away from the more interesting moments of character right before the violence.

  Although 4:3 aspect ration usually kills me, I was able to move past that barrier and become immersed in this film.
  It did take about a half hour for me to become invested, but once I did I was glad I waited.
  This film will moslty likely grow on me over time.
