  I don’t know if this movie is perfect but I found it to be charming as I watched it alongside my mother, who has seen it penny of times. Felt timeless to me despite a few ignorable exceptions. Sometimes two hot people are all you need.

  Not perfect by any means but my kind of fun (especially the first two acts). Great performances all around but story loses some steam towards the end - could’ve benefitted from a tighter edit. Bong still got the sauce and Naomi Ackie has my full attention!!!

  This was one of the most life changing films I have seen in a while, and really struck a personal cord with me. To be able to balance the themes of xenophobia, classism, assimilation, artistic ambition, religion, and so much more is just a masterclass in writing.

  As a Jew specifically, this movie spoke to me in ways I never could’ve imagined. The poignant line towards the end about the destination mattering more than the journey - a fucking Jewish…
