The French Dispatch 2021
The expected Roaldahlian narrator style, comforting sixties pastel shades, familiar soundtrack and perfect character descriptions are always a very welcome combo in Anderson’s movies. In this case, the soothing scenarios bring an intricate but perfectly connected storyline that keeps you adsorbed and exited about the way it will all end. I also very much enjoyed the illustrations, 100% Quentin Blake style (my favorite) that took me straight back to my childhood. Mr Anderson is like a Chef that masters bringing you back to your schooldays memories. Very pleasing to watch
