Hoard 2023
while watching this movie, i saw too much of myself and my childhood in maria. it was a hard first-watch (i will be watching again), but it felt right to be seen in film in a way that isn't glorified. i relate to maria far too much, much more than i should. i thank luna carmoon for making this movie, because it made me feel like a part of me, the part that i hid away, was being recognized, and healed.
