Solaris is an incredibly unique film with some of the most beautiful shots I’ve ever seen. The pacing and dialogue could be a tiny bit tighter and it would be close to a perfect movie. Concept of human consciousness expressed by fucking your dead alien wife was a delight to watch. I have seen something like this before, which made it a treat.

Tropical Malady 2004
This movie was boring. I came to empathize with the two main characters, and enjoyed the family dynamics. But that is about it as the plot itself felt sparse. I felt like for the first half of the movie I was waiting for something to happen, like an event or issue that would drive stress or excitement. This didn’t happen. By the end of the movie I was playing clash Royale because I had begun to realize I would get much more enjoyment from doing so.

The Batman 2022
This movie is the culmination of the best parts of the Batman character and Bruce Wayne’s emotional journey with the death of his parents. The themes and message aligned with the shots perfectly. I would have like an R-rating with more adult/gory scenes. Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz portrayal of Bruce and Selina we’re on point and showed amazing range and depth of the characters. Overall, this is the best superhero movie I have scene since in a long time and I hope to see it again soon!
