  Persona starts out abstract and ends abstract. Great pacing and beautifully shot, Bergman is a genius. A film that left me questioning certain aspects after every scene. A film that I will have to rewatch numerous times to fully understand. A film that holds outstanding performances and a striking score that left shivers down my spine.   The Lighthouse has been at the top of my watchlist for so long.

  First off, I want to say incredible performances by both Robert Pattinson and Willem Defoe, I swear he was born for roles like these. Incredible cinematography along with an amazing score and writing. Watching these two slowly lose sanity was a true work of art. Eggers has yet to fail to make a haunting and brain twisting film.
