Society of the Snow 2023
Under the grimmest conditions, the inexplicable perseverance of the will to survive is something this film succeeds at depicting, and for that this film should be appreciated if not at least admired by everyone.
I wish we would have gotten more backstory to the characters. It was difficult to distinguish who was who outside of the 3 main characters.
The piano theme at the end is very reminiscent of Lost.

Ordinary People 1980
A complex story about grief and depression haunting a would be idealized affluent family.. Set on 1980s Chicago. The script and acting do these very important themes the justice they deserve. Highly recommend!
