  Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin II - Artesia's Sorrow 2015

  Now here is where Gundam the Origin gets to ridiculous anime levels of entertainment that I don't usually like. How ridiculous most anime get is why I will never actually watch shows Naruto, One Piece it Kill la Kill. While it still stays grounded in some sort of realism; seeing a tweenage Char in a swordfight with a mysterious assassin dressed in knight armour took me out of it. Though how he does end up killing the assassin is pretty sweet. I still enjiyed it and sets up the events leading into the original series nicely just as the last one did.

  This is Cannon Films at their peek. Over the top action and set pieces, a budget almost the size of the budget for Supder Man IV the Quest for Piece, Acadamy award winner Sean Connery dressed like a pimp on horseback, a concept as dumb as Ed from "Ed, Edd and Eddy" and an amazing Queen filled soundtrack featuring songs written specifically for this movie.   The film has an interesting premis and a cast loaded with talent. The result is an intentionally goofy thriller with great performances by the cast. Audrey Heoburn and Cary Grant where at the hieght of their careers and it really shows.

  This is a sequal done right. It builds upon the story of the first one and makes us care about the characters even more. Plus we get a perfect set up for a 3rd one in the "Gundam Thunderbolt" series.
