Not much to say other than that this movie is AMAZING. A complete ride the whole way through. If you’ve watched the previous Top Gun from ‘86 you’ll appreciate the returning cast and Easter eggs. However, coming from a first viewer into the Top Gun lore, I enjoyed this movie throughly. The action, the chemistry, and contrast gave this movie a near A+ for me.
A typical Liam Neeson movie with a predictable story. I will say that the villain was menacing and really made me hate him. However, in contrast to that, the protagonists and their drama was basically “typical foreigner child victim meets white former military hero and the kid can speak English but will not reveal that skill until halfway through the movie”. It’s a repetitive storyline that gets ridiculously cringey in my honest opinion.

My second favorite Batman movie. It’s unique vibe with just how intimidating Robert’s Batman is shows that this Batman is in a class of his own. All the gadgets, the problem solving, the fighting style, everything felt way more hardcore and grounded compared to the fancy equipment of earlier Batman films. I can’t wait to see where they take the characters and Robert’s growth in the role.
