I’m surprised to see how much people are loving it. I felt like it was incredibly uneven, had a lot of strange, unnecessary sexual tension (why was that locker room scene necessary?), Zendaya was in over her head and felt more like an angsty teen when I feel like they were going for a powerful, controlling woman. And then nothing really that shocking happens? The payoff was not worth what came before it.
