Hundreds of Beavers 2022
This sort of long form looney tunes style seemed like it wasn’t going to be able to sustain itself for almost 2 hours and I was pleasantly surprised how long it kept my attention. The first 5 minutes I was out, then the next 60 minutes I was solidly in, then the last half hour or so I was waining.
The rabbits tripping while running away got me nearly every time

This movie genuinely had me locked in at several points. Thought this was just going to look good and have some decent Willam Dafoe scenes but it surprisingly delivered all that, very cool camera work, a great car chase, and at one point actually said out loud “oh no!”

The budget for this movie had to be like $1,000 because nothing happens at all. I was expecting some Hollywood high school high jinks but received nothing if the sort.
Relationship drama, election rigging, and someone throwing away posters is all the pivotal moments of the film.
I did like the scene where Matthew Broderick gets stung by a bee so that gets a star.

This was actually pretty enjoyable. Mainly due to the fact that I have a friend named Greg that is eerily parallel to the character named Greg in this movie. So if you know Greg, it’s worth watching for that alone.
