A beautiful start to a promising TV series based on the Appendices to Lord of the Rings and the Second Age, set thousands of years before the events of Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. The first two episodes set out on an ambitious journey and spend a lot of time world-building, but it pays off and introduces you to a Middle-Earth that is vastly different from the time of the Third Age. Ignore the naysayers who are either too attached to the PJ films or have a corrupted view of Tolkien's work.

Mortal Kombat 2021
This was not a Mortal Kombat movie, it was more like The Last Airbender meets the X-Men with more blood and gore. It completely ignores the source material outside of one particular storyline. It spits in the face of Mortal Kombat fans and tries to appeal to casuals instead with video game-style scenes and MCU influences. This is the Godzilla (1998) of the Mortal Kombat franchise. Mortal Kombat in name only. I actually think Mortal Kombat: Annhiliation was somewhat better.
And for all the shit people give Christopher Lambert these days, his portrayal of Raiden was much better.
