A beautiful and empathetic film. Everything about this film felt very real and human. The spectacular cinematography and camerawork contributes to the film’s commentary on childhood, oppression, and sexuality. The world would be kinder if more people watched this.

A beautiful film about the beautiful art of jazz. Dexter Gordon was such a strong contributor to the genre and he gave an excellent performance in this film. As someone who loves jazz this film is really an excellent contribution to the music and anyone who loves the genre or music in general should give it a watch.

Man this film. Might be my favorite of Quentin’s after this rewatch. Such a masterpiece of narration and suspense. I’ve yet to see a war film that delivers an intelligent plot and character study to the extent of this powerhouse. And man I really need to see more stuff with Christoph Waltz. Also I love pitt’s accent so much in this film.
