It was really interesting watching something I was in the AD department for.
Like usually I watch and have a general memory of where I was and what I was doing during the shoot. This time, seeing the scenes, I was like, “Oh that’s the exact spot I was standing in for my lockup,” and “Oh I remember what was happening on walkie during this shot, that shot, and the other”

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I mean, this is a classic for a reason (or lots).
Massive respect to what this did for both horror and film itself. Like the boldness here is astounding, and it’s wild to look at the major qualities of the zombie genre today and realize that they are almost all there, right in Night of the Living Dead, straight off the bat.
And when that cellar door opens up, this movie explodes into something emotional and thrilling.
Big shoutout to Chamberlain for bringing his copy, and to Brent for chilling.
