If I had to define barbie in one word, I think that word would be misunderstood.
Barbie had everything going for it. A strong cast, unlimited budget from two huge companies, director could even count with guest stars showing up on stage. Thing is, the message of such movie was cheapened out by the directors vision of it.

A truly beautiful work of art. this movie shows that Ghibli is not only still coming out with bangers, but also that it's not afraid of taking doing new things. Art style is as always breathtaking, music will stay with the viewers long after the curtains close, plot is intricate, heartfelt and requires true attention to fully grasp. Would recommend at least one rewatch of this movie to truly appreciate it in full.

Scenic, with scenes that are both painful but mesmerizing. Plot hurts just the right way to keep you watching, acting is beyond humanized to the point one forgets they are even actors at all, which works well as a tool to make the tragic plot hit close to home.

This movie is horrible. To whom wish to try: don't. It's a waste of time, not even worth to watch for the cringe.
