    We don’t read and write poetry because it’s cute, we read and write poetry because we are members of the human race, and the human race is filled with passion.

    I just keep watching it over and over again because nothing compares. 
    The cinematography, the dialogues that feel so authentic, the beauty and romanticism of having a dream calling your name. It’s just so beautiful.

    Also babes, his dad not accepting his dream to be an actor was not the only thing making him feel trapped. Those eyes were yearning for more than a friendship.

    If you had a happy childhood, this one is not for you.

    This did something to my inner child, and by that i mean it dropped kicked it in the throat. I hadn’t cry like that in front of my tv in a long time.

    For people that are frustrated that this is lacking explanation and character growth, i get it, but I saw it as a raw representation of a pain filled childhood. There isn’t always an explanation for…

    Nicholas Hoult‘s acting was fabulous. You can feel shock when he realizes what he might have done, and the pure guilt.

    There is something special about the fact that Sophie, unlike her father at her age, doesn’t not understand how your home and the place where you belong the most aren’t always the same. 

    It not only dealt with depression, self loathing, and regret, but also producing moments of happiness for your loved ones, even when you can’t create them for yourself anymore.
