This movie was a blast to watch. I’d put it in the same vein of Adam Wingard’s horror/comedies You’re Next and The Guest.
In less capable hands (which happens more often than not), this kind of movie is easy to screw up and turn into a dud. Fortunately, everything gels together seamlessly for a fun, ridiculous ride.

I was skeptical going into this flick, but found myself enjoying it overall.
The kid actors weren’t terrible (they were actually pretty good) and their continued innocence throughout the many wacky shenanigans they get themselves into makes the journey that much more enjoyable.
Unfortunately the film doesn’t do anything really new, following the same, familiar beats of the numerous iterations that came before it. It leans heavily on the “kids saying fuck a lot” schtick which was alright, but grew tiresome quickly.
A slow, deliberately paced spy thriller that proves one last time how fucking incredible Philip Seymour Hoffman is.
Grigoriy Dobrygin dials it in as Issa Karpov, a half Chechen, half Russian Muslim immigrant who sneaks into Hamburg (a hot bed of terrorist activity) with unknown intentions and a claim to €10 million. As more and more agencies (with less than admirable intentions) join the hunt for this mysterious man, Günther Bachmann works to uncover the truth behind Karpov’s sudden arrival.…
