  I'm a much bigger fan of vampires than pretty much any other supernatural movie genre, and Shadow of the Vampire holds a special place in my heart. So I'm pretty happy with this take on the original 1920's classic.

  Structurally, I think it was a bit haphazard. Narratively, I wished there was more connective tissue, to avoid having it feel like pieced-together vignettes. What was the was thoroughly enjoyable, if for nothing other than Bill Skarsgård's work here. I can't…

  Better than Chapter 3, I'll give it that! The "God's Eye View" sequence was thrilling and fun to watch, as was anytime Donnie Yen was on the screen. Overall a really enjoyable (final?) chapter of the franchise.
