Anna Kendrick’s acting was amazing.
Come on, did we seriously need another movie portraying a male serial killer as charismatic and charming, EWSEV really did enough damage already.
Although it tried to be subversive and different, it ended up coming off as disconnected, confusing and ignorant, just another true crime movie that romanticises the very real pain, misogyny and violence that women experience, and profits off of the experiences and deaths of real people, including children.
The plot was incredibly jumpy…
