this was good. lil quirky and lots of deeper messaging throughout the film- on par with bong joon-ho’s reputation.
not sure how rewatchable it is but it was cool and different
mickey ATE UP this role but the lead up just to crash out in the end was rough. i think there was really important themes about class and power but also felt like it was easy for the plot to lean into sex more than the storyline. i was also kinda confused by the takeaway at the end, but overall it was a good movie
FUCKING AMAZING! I love Ilana Glazer so much, I think she’s so talented in everything she does. This movie was such a cool take on friendship, motherhood, growing up, falling in love and the reality that life can be really challenging. I smiled, I cried, I laughed my ass off and I would definitely watch again. The multiple nods to Broad City from Ilana’s earrings and sass, to direct quotes and story line references were super fun too.
I was blushingggg watching this one 🤭 Zendaya ATE, like this was one of her strongest roles to date imo. I was captivated the whole time by the score and storyline. I was also a big fan of the outfit styling and the symbolism that was shown through clothing, especially when it was used to insinuate switching back and forth throughout the timeline.
