One of my favourite films with the greatest ending.
This film has one of the greatest endings all time, the conflict between Andrew and Fletcher consumes the screen as their power dynamic is finally equalled. The use of music and cinematography accurately captures the conflict between Fletcher and Andrew. The end 10-minute sequence reaches a point of no return as both protagonists become one. Entwined in the musical labyrinth they have created, Andrew the product of his mentor’s musical mania, and Fletcher the virtuoso tormentor.
