  Watched this in prep for Ne Zha 2. Much better than expected, but you can clearly see the western influences in the animation in terms of design, look, action, movement, even in the humor. But this was well executed and there's tons of Chinese folklore to mine.

  Somebody posted the best thing about this film is Zendaya"s press tour outfits, and you know after watching this, they're right.

  Some thoughts:
  - I watched a bootleg and had to rewind a few times cuz I was distracted by my phone too much too many times.
  - I can't buy Zendaya as a 30 something with a 5 year old kid. More like she couldn't sell it.
