  The Northman 2022

  I have mixed feelings of that movie…
  The plot is predictable, though it is partly obvious because one of that saga’s interpretation we have seen before - Hamlet by Shakespeare.
  Characters haven’t amazed me, however it can be partly because of weak cast - just for instance Anya Taylor could be more appropriate for an asian character in an another movie but no way for a slavic girl.
  In historical way of view it was sometimes hilarious… why have Amleth been fighting naked when they besieged a Slavic settlement?! Nonsense…
  However the photography and the movie sets were great. They successfully brought the medieval Scandinavian mood.
