White Noise 2022
This film made me genuinely laugh out loud (like, belly laugh) more than a few times. It is still a Baumbach film, though… lots of heart and touching moments. Have to say I liked the first half better than the last half, but I never felt like this movie dragged at all. Paced well. Gerwig and Driver both deliver stellar performances (I wouldn’t expect anything less). I thought the performances from the young actors playing their children were also impressive. Baumbach writes with biting yet heartwarming wit… this is the most fun I’ve had watching a movie in a while.
