  Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion 1997

  I'm definitely part of a small crowd when I say that I enjoyed the ending of the show more than the redone ending in the movie. The movie does do well in visuals, action, and story. It is much easier to follow than the show and is less constrained by budget, which all act in its favor. I do think it is a very enjoyable watch and is very skillfully made, I just prefer the way the show or rebuilds…

  A masterfully crafted and horrifying experience. The contrast of beautiful, colorful visuals and the friendly and accepting words of the people, with the eerie feeling that something isn't right manages to instill a sense of fear in the viewer before most of the horror even begins. All aspects of the movie from the sound, to the visuals, to the words the characters are speaking combine to create an incredible, yet mind bending experience.

  The Garfield Movie 2024

  A cute movie to watch with family. The story feels pretty removed from the Garfield comics as John and Odie take a smaller role and new characters get introduced, but as a stand alone story it's alright. Some of the voices feel a little out of place for the characters, and it would have been nice to prioritize the feel of the character over having a star studded cast. Nothing too complicated, a good watch for kids.
