A true 3 for me with Pros & Cons landing me at a neutral rating.
Pros:
First, lives up to the “epic” promise with massive Thrones-style battles and creative fights in the coliseum. Second, if you weren’t already a Paul Mescal fan, you will be after watching his piercing blue eyes on screen for a full 2.5 hours.
Cons:
Some of these battles were so over the top it borders on ridiculous and almost comical? And we don’t even get a sex scene out of it?
Conclusion, maybe this movie is just for the boys?
