  The perils and potential treachery of navigating a relationship... whether it's a business relationship, a personal relationship, or both.

  I love a Soderbergh thriller, they are so clean; not an ounce of fat and flying like a bullet. Even in this, where there's almost no action, the experience of seeing these interesting people doing an utterly insane and stressful job and also getting intimately involved in every way possible... it's a breeze.

  A hormone-addled, teenage gang fantasy musical, set in an almost post-apocalyptic rockabilly cityscape; Grease meets The Warriors, with some Blade Runner-esque neon atmosphere thrown in for good measure; 80s cheese through a 70s lens, complete with freeze frames on title cards during the opening credits.

  Perhaps the best feature length music video ever made... and especially fun and beautiful in gorgeous 70mm.

  I don't know what the hell is going on in the lives of Robert Rodriguez and Ben Affleck, but considering this film I think someone should be checking on them consistently.
