My favorite found footage film so far. A weird, PS2-era trip through supernatural evil and Japanese variety shows. I really dug the overall feeling of dread Noroi pulls off. Whether in city offices or creepy countryside homes, the curse is ever present and seems to affect everyone we meet.

A bizarre little slice of Japanese SOV goodness. Four girls head to a cabin for a fun countryside vacation, only to be terrorized by an ancient monster dwelling in a dark basement.
While the plot is as threadbare as you can get, the location, cast, music, and practical effects all make up for it. All of that plus a runtime just around 40 minutes? C’mon! If you’re into weirdo Japanese cinema, give this one a watch.
