  Beetlejuice the film walked so Beetlejuice the musical can run. It's a wonderfully weird film even though the visuals are showing its age. The story is light-hearted and fun but just felt not fully elaborated in many parts. I enjoyed the musical rendition a lot more, all the characters and plots just felt more full and fleshed out. Still, a decent film.
