I saw this film, sweet coincidence, in an airplane on my way to Japan. I deemed it fitting and sat down to watch this little gem. (Later I found out that suzume is actually the name of a bird (a sparrow I think). In some arts and crafts center in a historic centre of a little town I bought a little wooden suzume from a local woodcarver. It goes into the christmastree every year.)
