I love watching movies about Christian politics because they feel like the fictional version of Islam.
The ending was pretty predictable but regardless a good watch!
Edit: I may be wrong but this is the first mainstream intersex movie, no?

Akerman’s films always leave me with a nauseating feeling of claustrophobia, only to be released by tearing apart the pelvic area. Ripping my legs off up to the uterus, and letting the uterine lining fall off of me.
Estrangement, alienation, motherly love, nostalgia, New York!
