This was so great and I greatly appreciate this movies theme. I personally have always perceived the one I like to be so difficult to walk up to in the early stages, that I’ll even avoid it at all costs. This really does feel like what that felt like and the film reaps what it sows.
Also a masterclass on soft lighting and color theory

Requiem for a Dream 2000
I’m surprised how many of my letterboxed friends didn’t like this one. Emily and I had to fully reset before continuing our night. I can say I’ve seen edgy aronofsky and this was nowhere near as bad as pi. So much better and left me feeling something which is always why I love a movie.
