  Spooky scary until Nic Cage comes on screen. I appreciate his swing but I don't think his performance works and I think his character is introduced too early. I think the reveal of what's going on is less interesting than the build up which is handled expertly.

  I was shocked by how much this film affected me. I went in expecting a by-the-numbers Mr. Rodgers biopic and, instead, it is an oddly experimental, dark, adult drama. Heller really brings her A-Game to the visual style of this film and is able to transcend some, at times, clunky dialogue.
