Transformers One 2024
I've always had a soft spot for Transformers, except The Last Night. Mark Whalberg playing himself in every movie is never that fun. This animated prequel was full of fun and excitement however. The story was rushed along quite a bit but that doesn't matter when you get to watch transformers transform every few minutes. Why is Chris Hemsworth playing such young characters though, he needs to step back and let new talent have their shot.

Top Gun: Maverick 2022
What an action film! See it on the biggest screen you can find. Great nods to the original, thank you Jesus for a volleyball esque scene again! Some of the most thrilling action sequences I've seen. After that I feel the need...to have a lie down cause it was intense!

I mean, I feel you know what you're going to get with a Jason Statham film. However, this was all sorts of stupid. Mostly the script TBF and some acting. The story itself could have been quite fun but the constant mentioning of bees was tedious and linking it to the plot was like being spoonfed a children's book.
