rewatched for st. paddy’s day which may be strange but ended up being perfect. i forgot how funny this movie is despite the, well, everything going on — i’m not irish but i feel it captures the irish mindset perfectly. i noted this on my first watch but the WARDROBE is so beautiful i need everyone’s sweaters and coats expeditiously. and the colors, and the landscape, aside from the actual plot, which is a topic for another review. this is one of those movies that makes me love watching movies.

The Substance 2024
years ago, a friend said of end of dorian gray (2009), "that's what happens if you don't moisturize!" and that's the opposite of how i feel about this movie... she moisturized a little too close to the sun. all jokes aside i rarely ever Get movies but this one kinda spoke to me. first time ive ever teared up at a horror movie and the first time excessive blood has made me giggle that much. incredible
