  Often during the movie I asked myself, "Why?" From the unrealistic dialog choices to the overdramatized secondary characters and dead plot, this movie continuously had me feeling empty and unfulfilled.

  The narrative of this film is timeless. The society that the film presents, at the time period of the film's release, reveals ghastly parallels to modern society, one I will bring up comes during the ending of the film encompassing mental health awareness, recognition, and treatment. The plot is also very interesting. This film is built very beautifully and there were moments where I physically giggled at the brilliance of certain mannerisms and phrases of the film's setting.
