I had high expectations for the film in the beginning because it started off well and got me excited about the scenario and conflict of the story. Mulan 2020
The recent live-action adaptation of "Mulan" has received mixed reviews by me, first, I may express my huge disappointment over the absence of the character Mushu. Besides, they have shown Li Shang as a regular soldier not a general of the army. However, despite these, the film is praised for its successful adherence to the main story elements of the classic Chinese tale of Hua Mulan. I think, the filmmakers were able to effectively keep the storyline intact, and they gave a respectful and fair representation of the original story of Mulan.
