Totally epic ending! Spray the crowd and your jackass boss with blood after the pressure they put on you to stay young and fit!
The Substance makes us consider how far women, especially in the picnic eye, are willing to go to maintain beauty standards. All women can relate to feeling insecure in some moments, but this piece makes us see just how damaging our insecurities can be. Even after all the neglect from Elizabeth’s boss and the media, her biggest enemy ended up being her hatred of herself.

Very entertaining and interesting concept! Mark Ruffalo and Pattinson handled their roles very well and were extremely watchable. I didn’t enjoy the special effects in the 4D theater with air blasts, scents, moving seats, etc. That was an unnecessary and unexpected addition to the movie-going experience.
