This is definitely an experience. Dafoe is great, but there’s not much else to it beyond some big late 90s vibes and awful Irish accents.

I don't care about baseball, but the Oakland A's have nice colours. Jonah Hill isn't the funny fat guy, which is great. It's one of the Good Sports Movies that I can't quite describe why it's good.
It's basically a glorified story about analytics and looking at what players do as opposed to how they look doing it. A movie about substance over style that favours substance over style.
